Psychologist
Shruti Gupta is a registered psychologist with experience in both public and private settings. She has worked in the mental health field with diverse populations. Some examples of presenting issues that she has worked with include working with people who have experienced trauma, mental health issues (e.g. anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis), abuse, grief and loss, stress, relationship challenges, domestic violence, substance misuse and addictions.
Shruti also provides couples therapy, supporting partners to improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen emotional connection. She works with couples facing a range of relationship challenges, helping them better understand interaction patterns, rebuild trust where needed, and develop healthier ways of relating. Her approach is collaborative and balanced, creating a space where both partners feel heard and supported as they work towards a more secure and satisfying relationship.
She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and guides clients to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience. She creates the space to safely process, without judgement, and nurtures the courage to be imperfect. Shruti can speak fluent Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
Shruti works with adults, as well as adolescents, aged 12 years plus. She is also a worksafe registered practitioner who has extensive experience working with workcover clients.
