Jess’s passion for physiotherapy started as a child playing competitive soccer, cricket and netball, where she spent more time in the treatment room than on the pitch. She started to fall in love with anatomy books and wanted to learn all she could about the body and movement.
She now views pain and injury as a puzzle to be solved and puts all her effort into ensuring each patient can achieve their functional goals, whether this is being able to walk around the block or perform in an elite sport.
Having recently moved from Manchester in the UK, Jess loves the active lifestyle that Australia provides. She spends any spare time in the outdoors – traveling, surfing, or kayaking, and has just discovered a love of Italian cooking and is trying to perfect her gnocchi.
